Sara J. Grossman's work has been published or is forthcoming in Guernica, BOAAT, Michigan Quarterly Review, Omniverse, Verse Daily and elsewhere. She's received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, Hedgebrook, The Anderson Center, as well as the NEH and the Smithsonian Institution. Her first book of poems, Let the House of Body Fall won the 2017 Editor’s Choice prize at New Issues Poetry & Prose and was released on October 2, 2018. She is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Bryn Mawr College.

Getting close to burning up sun draws into itself. Along the shoreline of the outside, nothing rises and nothing falls. We understand now — don’t we? — the way that a star breaks. The color of never stretches. If I told you there was an end to it would you believe me?
