Self-portrait as a Beach

I do not mean anything that comes out of my mouth tonight being drunk and hungry have similar symptoms I feel stupid saying this without any scientific proof you would be the first I would tell this I have no problem with my tongue although I say things slightly different from what I meant I am a beach & always wet I know you could be thinking of something else I have been a beach all my life the trace of blood across my face, purple stains like a premature rainbow over the sky that washes down after a drizzle like a beach that I am, the memories rides beneath the wave of bubbles what is left with me are broken eye glasses missing pairs of children's shoes misplaced wedding rings that are better left misplaced.
