Dejected Ode on Coffee

I read an article stating there are over a thousand chemicals in every cup of coffee. A rich history of slavery, physical and economic, bloodshed. Deforestation. Pumping poison pollution into an already weakening sky and earth. But with every sip I feel like Kerouac meditating under a tree, at once experiencing the wondrous physical sensations of being corporeal and melting into the subconscious of everything.
