Fat Boy and the Age of Progress

The toaster monolithic — Tremendous giant monument Makes my toast, so that every time I do Push that button down, then up comes the Civilized side of bread Paint with peanut of yellow, yellow butter Teeth make the sound of a crunching giving The middle of me expands — I plan to eat the world But really — hubris My reflection caught in the weird light of silver reflection This toaster will be the death of us all with its forward thinking.
